Okay, I get it…

So last night, Dodger and I curled up in a little nest and watched the second half of Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle. It was the latest of the films based on Jane Austen’s work that I’ve indulged in lately. I haven’t read any of her novels, which are classics, I know, and I probably look like a cretin by skipping them. I just didn’t see what all the fuss was about. But now I do. As absorbed as I became in P & P especially. And since I almost always find books deeper than the movies, I’m sure I’d enjoy the novels too.
